Guidance on Area Plans - revised November 2023

Regulations governing the retention of petroleum-related information and samples laid in parliament by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) came into force on 14 May 2018.

This guidance replaces previously available guidance on Supply Chain Action Plans (SCAPs). It details when SCAPs are required and provides information on the matters the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) normally takes into account when considering such SCAPs

This guidance sets out when the Authority will consider the financial capability of a legal or natural person (“person”) and the factors that the Authority will usually take into consideration when doing so

Decommissioning Section Guidance - This section will appear for all Fields that do not yet have an approved Close Out Report from OPRED and once at organisational level.
