At the annual PROSPEX Event (9th & 10th December 2015), the OGA announced that data packages from the Government-Funded Seismic Programme will be made available towards the end of Q1 2016. The seismic surveys cover areas in the Rockall and Mid North Sea High Areas that the OGA hopes to make available for Licensing in the 29th Frontier Round.

The OGA also requested Nominations from companies for additional frontier areas which may be included in the Round, to be sent to jen.brzozowska@ogauthority.co.uk before close 17th January 2016.
