This consultation, which is now closed, sought the oil and gas industry’s views on proposals to establish new fees that the OGA can charge for its services; and a new methodology to calculate the industry levy.
Part 1 of the document sought views on proposed changes to the fees the OGA charges.
Part 2 of the document sought views on proposed changes to the methodology for calculating the levy on pre-production licences.
The OGA invited written views and comments on the proposed changes , to be made by 17:00 on 5 December 2016.
OGA Response
On 10 March 2017, the OGA published its response to the consultation on the proposals to introduce new OGA fees and to amend the methodology to calculate the levy.
