Nominations have opened today for the Oil & Gas UK Awards where OGA will present, for a second time, the MER UK Awards to recognise innovative and sustainable ways to maximise economic recovery from the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
Andy Samuel, chief executive of the OGA, said: “Last year we were delighted to have a very strong category for the inaugural MER UK Awards with great examples of companies pioneering new, more collaborative ways of working.
“We selected four very deserving winners and I look forward to recognising and sharing more tangible examples of good practices and sustainable behavioural change from across the UKCS in support of delivering MER UK.”

- Candidates must be currently active on the UKCS and be able to describe positive collaboration. Entries are welcomed from operators and service companies both large and small.
- The Awards which will take place at Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre on Thursday 3 November. Nominations close on August 19th 2016.
- Last year’s MER UK Award winners were; Nexen, Northern North Sea Operational Gas Group, Centrica, Total and Dong.
