We work on crucial issues which are affecting the country now and will continue to do so for generations to come.
Not only are we helping to deliver energy security, but we are doing so in a way that will play a vital part of helping the country meet net zero. We do this through carbon capture, lowering emissions from oil production and ensuring fields meet strict environmental criteria.
Whether you already work in the oil in gas industry, or are interested in becoming part of it; whether you are a lawyer, policy maker, geologist or corporate services professional, there could be a role for you here.
We are looking for talented, dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who are keen to critically analyse, work across industry and Government and be agile, ready to adapt to our ever changing world while keeping a keen focus on our principle objectives.
We come from a wide range of backgrounds, whether it's a Government department, industry body or somewhere else entirely.
The NSTA is headquartered in Aberdeen with approximately 70% of our staff currently based there. Whilst we do operate an office in London the majority of our future recruitment will require an Aberdeen office base. The job description will clearly detail in which location the role you are applying for will be based. Whilst travel between locations is possible the 40% hybrid working commitment will predominately apply to the office location of the role.
It's not all office based though. There's some really great training available whatever your level of seniority including our offsite leadership programmes as well as away days and team dinners so you can get to know your team away from an office or a screen.
The following pages will tell you more about what the North Sea Transition Authority does, what we offer new recruits, what you can expect from our recruitment process, and what to expect when you join the North Sea Transition Authority team.
